Other details regarding the serious incident in Dhërmi, where 43-year-old Gerald Shehu killed and hid the body of 31-year-old Eraldo Nevruzi, are coming to light.
The deceased is a well-known name to the Albanian police. It is learned that he has also been to Great Britain.
According to the police, it turns out that the young man was violent and a drug user. In December of the last year, it was the father of Eraldo Novruzi who went to the police and denounced his son for domestic violence, whereupon the police stopped him and then prosecuted him.
It is learned that the father also requested a protection order, which was approved by the court.
We remember that Shehu escaped towards Greece through the border point. The police immediately notified the Greek authorities, who managed to stop the 43-year-old at an airport, as he tried to leave the Greek state.
The serious incident happened in a hotel in Dhërmi shortly after midnight, where it is suspected that Gerald Shehu killed Nevruz with a gun. Meanwhile, the police are continuing the search for the body of the receptionist.
Shehu and Nevruzi were friends with each other, while they are co-owners of the hotel. According to the evidence, two gunshots were heard and traces of blood were also found. It is known that the murder of the 31-year-old took place in one of the hotel rooms.
