Rape of police officer in Saranda, three people are wanted; among them is the injured man's son

Three people are wanted, including the injured man's son.

Saranda Police have announced a search for Andrea Rubati, the son of Thimjo Rubati, as well as Antonio Lefteri and Engjëll Dalanaj, suspected of raping Police Officer Mihal Velço, an event that occurred on Thursday evening.

Their announcement of their wanted status comes just hours after 50-year-old Thimjo Rubati, also known as Sandër, was injured in a gun attack at his business premises in Saranda.

At this stage of the investigation, it has not been confirmed whether the two incidents are connected. However, sources close to the investigation indicate that the wanted persons, including Rubati's son, have criminal records.
