A member of a criminal group with activities in the field of narcotics, in Struga, he was caught by the Border Police services, on his way out, and arrested with the intention of extradition to North Macedonia, the 32-year-old declared internationally wanted.
The services of the Rinas Border Police Commissariat, following detailed entry/exit controls, for the capture of wanted citizens who try to enter or leave Albania, based on informational intelligence, have organized, in cooperation with Interpol Tirana, the police operation coded "Exit". During this operation, as a result of the exchange of information between Interpol Tirana and Interpol Skopje, the following citizen was caught trying to leave the Republic of Albania and arrested with the intention of extradition to North Macedonia:
VE, 32 years old, born and living in Struga, North Macedonia.
This citizen was declared an international wanted by Interpol Skopje, after the Public Prosecutor's Office for Organized Crime and Corruption in MV, with the decision dated 20.12.2023, issued an international arrest warrant for this citizen, for the criminal offense "Production and sale of narcotics", provided by the Criminal Code of North Macedonia.
This citizen is accused of being one of the organizers of a criminal group in Struga, active in the production and sale of narcotics, mainly cocaine and cannabis, during 2023. The narcotic substance was bought by the associates of the VE citizen and then sold in Struga, mainly in designated places.
Interpol Tirana is following the procedures for the extradition of this citizen to North Macedonia, " the announcement says.
