The identities of two other people injured in the gunfire attack at the Court of Appeal, where Judge Astrit Kalaja was killed, have been revealed.
It is learned that Rakip and Ervis Kurtaj, both father and son, were also injured in the gunfire. It is not known whether they were parties to the same trial or were involved in separate proceedings.
The incident took place in the courthouse. The perpetrator, identified as Gjon Shkëmbi, opened fire on the judge, who was seriously injured and died on the way to the hospital. Meanwhile, the two injured are in the hospital under the care of doctors.
