A 33-year-old man has been arrested by police on charges of financial fraud.
It is learned that the young man had deceived a citizen by promising to pay off his business's tax obligations, receiving 10 thousand euros.
"He took 10,000 euros from a citizen through fraud, the 33-year-old is in custody."
Specialists of the Economic and Financial Crimes Investigation Section, following a report by a citizen about a case of financial fraud, organized and finalized the police operation codenamed "Fraud", within the framework of which citizen ED, 33 years old, resident of Tirana, was arrested.
The investigative actions resulted in this citizen, at different times, having received 10,000 euros from citizen GD, claiming that he would repay the tax obligations of his commercial activity.
"The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office for further procedural actions ," the police announced.
