Among the 33 persons that SPAK requested to be arrested during the "Golden Bullet 2" operation, assigning the security measures of "prison arrest and "house arrest", is a judicial secretary named Denada Toda alias Runaj.
This woman you see in this photo has served for more than 10 years as a judicial secretary in the court of Tirana and that of Elbasan, working as a secretary under judge Pajtime Fetahu. But for some time she has resigned from the court of Elbasan, settling in Italy.
She is the sister of the late Regis Runaj, who on July 29, 2020 was massacred with about 27 stab wounds, by Euglen Halili, who had received orders from Xuljano Hoxha and Erjon Alibej to kill Runaj in the city of Elbasan.
Euglen Halili, is the first associate of the prosecution who spoke about the war between criminal gangs, whose testimony led to the imprisonment and life imprisonment of Xuljano Hoxha and the arrest of the main sponsor of murders in several cities, Erjon Alibej.
The order for the arrest of Denada Toda alias Runaj was carried out on the very day Regis Runaj was killed. On July 29, 2024, the Runaj family paid tribute to Regis' grave, commemorating him on the 4th anniversary of his macabre murder.
But very soon they received the bitter news from the police that they had to execute the security measure issued by SPAK, for Denada Toda alias Runaj.
This is because on July 29, 2024, exactly four years after the murder of the SPAK brother, he issued an arrest warrant with a "house arrest" security measure for Regis's sister, the former secretary of the Elbasan court, Denada Toda.
According to SPAK, the latter, during the period September-October 2020, when she served as a secretary in the court of Elbasan, sent secret documents to various persons and for this reason the security measure was imposed for the charge of "Disclosure of acts or data secrets".
Currently, Euglen Halili has been sentenced to 17 years in prison for the murder of Regis Runaj, while Xuliano Hoxha was sentenced to life imprisonment for the murder of Regis and Emiljano Ramazan. In the meantime, Erjon Alibej, who is already awaiting trial with other people for other murders, was taken as a defendant.
According to the dynamics of the event, Euglen Halili first shot his friend with a knife, while they were both riding a motorcycle.
The blow happened from behind and Runaj had no chance to react and countered to defend himself. Runaj was repeatedly shot with a knife while driving his motorcycle.
According to Halil's testimony, they both fell from the motorcycle and Halil continued to shoot him with a knife, until Runaj lost his life.
In total, Runaj was stabbed 27 times by Euglen Halili. After the murder, the latter left with the motorcycle driven by the victim, the vehicle from which the whole incident was revealed.
The police was able to seize the motorcycle, during the controls in the residences of the suspected persons. It was on this motorcycle that blood traces of the victim Regis Runaj and a fingerprint of Euglen Halil were found. The latter was accompanied to the police and was acquainted with the police evidence, which implicated Halil in the murder.
The young man agreed to cooperate and tell everything, just so that at the end of the sentence he would be favored by justice. Halili has shown that the organizer of Runaj's murder is Xhuljano Hoxha and that he threw the crime weapon, a knife, into the "Shkumbin" river./ Ora News
