Images of the car of the people suspected of the massacre in Memaliaj, where 3 people were killed, are published.
The first investigative data of the police suspect that the target of this attack was 74-year-old Shyqyri Kalemi, who died on the spot. Gledian Muka, the bar's waiter, as well as another casual customer, identified as Marsel Çela, were also killed by the automatic shots at the scene.
The victim's brother, Kalemi, Artur Kalemi, who is being cared for by doctors in the regional hospital of Gjirokastra with leg and chest wounds, was also seriously injured by this incident.
After this massacre, which was unheard of in Memaliaj even in the terrible year 1997, the suspected perpetrators, who are suspected to be three, left in a car in the direction of Mallakastra and then burned the vehicle in the village of Bejar to disappear traces.
In the burned vehicle, the police found three Kalashnikov firearms with which the assassination is suspected. Several police checkpoints have been set up towards Memaliaj and the Mallakastra area, while RENEA forces have also arrived in the area.
The first suspicions are that this massacre was motivated by revenge by Shyqyri Kalemi, because of his son, Andrea Kalemi, also known as Tik Kalemi, and some other family members who are suspected to be involved in several murders, which started in in 2021. / A2 CNN
