A 25-year-old Albanian man has been executed with 3 bullets in Italy. The incident took place in Montecalvoli, a small village in the municipality of Santa Maria a Monte, in the province of Pisa.
The victim has been identified as Kevin Muharremi. According to Italian authorities, he was killed at around 5:30 a.m. while he was a passenger in a car traveling in the city center.
He was returning from a party when he was shot at by another vehicle in the direction of the 25-year-old.
Residents in the area claimed to have heard at least 3 gunshots.
The provincial Carabinieri command is investigating the incident.
The young man was shot in the neck, causing his instant death. He was sitting in the passenger seat at the time of the attack.
The investigation so far suggests that the conflict may have occurred as a result of an argument. The killer was in a car with another person, who then fled the scene. Investigators are reviewing surveillance cameras in the area, including license plate cameras. Carabinieri officers are also interviewing several witnesses.
