A 64-year-old man was escorted by the Kavaja police after stabbing his son-in-law. According to the police, the incident is suspected to have happened for family reasons.
The 46-year-old initially had a conflict with his wife, then it is suspected that the father-in-law intervened to help the girl. During this conflict, the latter stabbed him.
The investigative group, under the guidance of the willing Prosecutor, is working for the complete clarification of the circumstances of the event and the complete legal documentation of the case.
" He injured his son-in-law with a cutting tool, the 64-year-old, suspected author of the injury, is accompanied to the Police. At around 17:00, a 46-year-old citizen, resident of district no. 3, Kavajë, went to the Durrës Regional Hospital for medical help, injured with a cutting tool (knife), out of danger for life. The Police Services and the investigative team, upon receiving the notification, immediately went to the hospital and to the place where the incident took place in the 46-year-old's apartment and, thanks to the timely response and quick actions, accompanied the 46-year-old's father-in-law, citizen, 64 years old.
From the first investigative actions, it is suspected that the 64-year-old injured his son-in-law with a cutting tool (knife) for family reasons, after the 46-year-old first had a conflict with his wife and then it is suspected that the father-in-law intervened to help the girl his, where during this conflict the latter wounded him with a knife. The investigative group, under the guidance of the willing Prosecutor, is working for the full clarification of the circumstances of the event and the full legal documentation of the case ," the police announcement states.
