Oklend Berberi, 36, is the Albanian who has been declared wanted by Greek authorities, as a suspect in a series of thefts in Greece. Greek police are even asking for the public's help to denounce whether he has been involved in other criminal events.
According to the Greek police, Oklend Berberi, 36, was arrested on February 5, 2025 as the perpetrator of the theft of passengers' wallets on the Tram in Nea Smyrni, on January 28 and February 4.
It turns out that he has previously been prosecuted for theft by the Greek police.
According to the police, “given that the above criminal offense violates the legitimate interest of property, this specific discovery, in accordance with the Order of the relevant Prosecutor, aims to investigate, detect or prosecute crimes of a similar nature that have been committed by the defendant against other victims and to prevent a threat to public safety in connection with the above crimes.”
