How the owner of the bar became the "bridge" between the Italian drug

The owner of a bar in Capua, 64 years old, is the link between Raffaele Gravante, 46 years old, former owner of the restaurant "Le Palme" in via Aeroporto in Capua, and the Albanian Gazmir Shahu, 40 years old, known as Gas.

This is the thesis of the Italian investigators, who were engaged in tracking the protagonists of drug trafficking present in the city of Capua and Santa Maria Capua Vetere.

Granante and Shahu are now on trial after being accused of drug trafficking. The connection between the two arrested persons and the bartender was made after the discovery of numerous telephone contacts (direct and indirect) between the three.

Gravante during five months in 2021, had interacted 456 times with the owner of the Capua bar and over 50 times with the Albanian known by the nickname "Gas".

Another Albanian, who is believed to be close to Shahu, has spoken, according to what the police report, to the bartender 7 times.

Another element that led the police to believe that the 64-year-old dealer was involved in the drug business is a wiretapped conversation during which he says that he worked to deliver to "Gas" "bags of clothes" prepared by Gravante.

But to investigators, bags of clothes mean drugs. The drugs were sent to "Gas" by the bartender not directly, but through other persons.

The passage of the drgga through other Albanians was requested by "Gas" himself to prevent many people from knowing his place of residence.
