A 41-year-old man was handcuffed by the police in the capital.
He had broken the 'House Arrest' security measure and then stole two mobile phones from 2 businesses, on New Ring Road and Kavaja Street.
"Criminal Investigation Specialists of Police Station No. 6 in cooperation with Station No. 2 organized and finalized the coded operation 'Story'. GH, 41 years old, resident of Tirana, was detained by the police and he has been convicted before for criminal offenses in the field of narcotics.
From the investigative actions carried out, it was found that this citizen broke the "House Arrest" security measure and on 25.03.2024 stole a mobile phone from a business in the New Ring area, while on 01.04.2024, he stole a cell phone in a business on Kavaja Street.', the police report says.
Meanwhile, the 2 stolen cell phones were seized and the clothes he used during the theft.
