According to SPAK, during the month of February 2022, the 7 suspects secured stolen vehicles in the Republic of Kosovo and then trafficked them to our country from the Morina border crossing point. According to SPAK, they took Albanian license plates and mounted them on vehicles stolen in Kosovo to cross the border.
They were discovered on February 24, 2022 after a Kosovar citizen saw his vehicle in Fushë Krujë. After the complaint to the police by the person in question, the officers tracked down the suspects, first arresting Vojsava Doda, an employee of the special operational forces.
During the verification, it turned out that the license plates did not match the vehicle, but they belonged to a car rented by Selaudin Shahini.
He had contacts with citizens from Kosovo who were involved in car theft. While the other officer, Endi Ahmetaj, was handcuffed after one of the arrested showed that in another case, the latter had helped them traffic vehicles.
