Police have arrested 26-year-old Erdit Ponari after he was caught with drugs in his vehicle. The Blues arrested the young man in flagrante delicto after he was caught with 23.5 grams of cocaine, which was suspected to be intended for sale in doses.
Following the operation, 9 cartons of cigarettes without tax stamps were also seized from his apartment.
"EP, 26 years old, resident of Tirana, previously convicted of criminal activity in the field of narcotics. In Rinas, the Police services stopped the vehicle driven by citizen EP, in which during the search they found a quantity of suspected cocaine, which he is suspected of possessing with the intention of selling in doses. Following the actions, during the search of his apartment, 9 stacks of cigarette packs, without tax stamps, were found and seized," the police announced.
The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office for further action.
