This is Ilir Dervashi, the 47-year-old Albanian who was killed with a screwdriver in Italy.
The wounds on Ilir Dervashi's abdomen, which were initially thought to be the result of a car accident, turned out to be wounds caused by a screwdriver.
Immediately after the first investigation of the accident on the A13 highway, the Italian police suspected something different. What looked like another tragedy on the streets of Bologna turned into a case of murder after forensic examination.
During the investigation, it turned out that the 47-year-old Albanian received multiple blows to the abdomen caused by a screwdriver. The driver of the car, Miri Gurra, a 34-year-old Albanian, was arrested as a suspect in Dervash's murder.
The car in which the two Albanians were traveling, a Renault Capture, crashed into a car in front, ending up on the side of the road. The 34-year-old driver was pulled out unharmed, but unfortunately Ilir Dervashi had passed away.
The circumstances of the death raised immediate suspicion.
