The Court of Appeal has upheld the decision with life imprisonment for Besnik Pjetri (Perdeda), a decision that was previously given by the Court of Lezha.
He is the author of the murder of his former father-in-law and former brother-in-law in the village of Grykë Zeze in Lezha, an event that took place in August 2022.
Besnik Pjetri killed his ex-father-in-law Pjetër Perjaku and ex-brother-in-law Gentian Perjaku with a gun in the apartment.
It is suspected that the motive for the murders was the conflict that the author had with the family members of his ex-wife, with whom they had been divorced for 6 years.
Peter did not agree with the separation and constantly argued with his ex-father-in-law about this issue.
