The testimony before the police officers of 35-year-old Ilir Koçilja, who killed his neighbor in Durrës on Wednesday, Halil Koka, with a knife is cleared.
According to him, the fight between the two residents started over the parking of the victim's car at the entrance in front of the building.
The conflict had its origins a few days before the murder, which according to the 35-year-old Kocilja, the latter asked him not to park the car there.
Kocilja said that he had scratched Halil Koka's vehicle as the latter continued to park it in front of the palace. According to him, on the day of the incident, Halil Koka threatened him.
" We were neighbors with Halili Koka. We used to be friends, but recently we didn't get along well with each other. He left the car at the entrance of the palace. I had told him several times not to leave it there because it was preventing citizens from passing by to go home. When I told him not to leave the car there, he insulted me. I did not reply. When I went out the next day, I saw the car still parked there. Out of anger, I scratched the passenger door with a knife and ran away. Again the next day he left it there and I scratched it again. He came and caught me one day and said you scratched my car. Yes, I told him to scratch it. Don't leave it there, I told him. We argued there, who are you, who am I. He started threatening me. I will kill, I will put in the trunk. I had the knife with me. I saw him leave the neighborhood on the main street, I approached him and said "you will drag me and put me in the trunk". He cursed me. There my eyes got dark and I shot him with a knife ", said Ilir Kocilja in his testimony before the police.
Ilir Koçilja and Halil Koka had a conflict in the premises of the palace in district no. 4 of Durrës, and then as Koka tried to leave, he fell on the sidewalk and the perpetrator stabbed him, leaving.
46-year-old Halili Koka was stabbed in the heart and died while being taken to the city hospital. The author was caught by the police after a few hours.
