The victim, identified as Renato Hoxhaj, 58 years old, was employed as a guard at a building under construction near his apartment.
The police have released the first details regarding the incident in an official statement. The incident remains a mystery, while authorities are investigating several leads in order to shed light on the incident.
"Today, at around 06:00, in the "Hajro Çakërri" neighborhood, on the street, near his apartment, was found without signs of life, suspected of being killed with a gunshot, citizen RH, 58 years old, who was also employed as a guard in a building under construction near his apartment.
"A special investigative group has been established and, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, intensive investigations are continuing to clarify the circumstances and secure evidence, with the aim of legally documenting the event, identifying and capturing the perpetrator(s)," the Police statement said.
