A prostitution den has been discovered by police in Tirana. Two girls from Kazakhstan, aged 19 and 25, who were operating in a rented apartment on "Çamëria" street, have been arrested.
The police also prosecuted a 33-year-old man, suspected of benefiting from the activity.
During the operation, amounts of money obtained from prostitution and two mobile phones were seized.
"They were practicing prostitution in a rented apartment on "Çameria" street, 2 citizens from Kazakhstan were arrested.
Criminal proceedings are being initiated against 1 citizen, a beneficiary of this activity.
A sum of money suspected to have been gained from this activity and 2 cell phones were seized.
The services of Police Commissariat No. 3, based on information obtained about a prostitution case, have organized and finalized, under the direction of the Tirana Prosecutor's Office, the police operation codenamed "Nest 4".
As part of the operation, Kazakh citizens K. Zh., 19 years old, and Zh. Sh., 25 years old, were arrested after investigations revealed that they were practicing prostitution in an apartment they had rented on "Çamëria" street.
Also, criminal proceedings were initiated against a 33-year-old citizen, a beneficiary of this activity.
"The procedural materials were referred to the Tirana Prosecutor's Office for further action," the police announced.
