The Forum for the Protection of Cultural Heritage has shown today how businesses are implementing this heritage.
On the social network, they have published the car of the sausage company, of one of the businesses, which by the decision of the former minister Mirela Kumbaro operates in that area, is parked on the cultural monuments.
Addressing the Minister of Culture Blendi Gonxhe, the Forum for the Protection of Cultural Heritage writes that the daily parking of this car on the ancient ruins is symbolic of rape, bewilderment and public mockery of cultural assets.

This is the view from the Acropolis of Butrint today on 29.06.2024. The car of the sausage company, to which your colleague Kumbaro gave a concession on a historical building to convert it into a cafe, is parked on the cultural monuments.
You can see it, dear Mr. Minister how this sausage company car is parked on top of a medieval church excavated by Sorbonne professor Etleva Nallbani. The machine that supplies Kumbaro's cafe performs this ritual every day in the eyes of all visitors and the state administration.
In fact, the daily parking of this car on the ancient ruins is symbolic of the rape, humiliation and public ridicule that your Ministry, AADF, BMF and others like do to the assets of the Albanian cultural heritage.
At the beginning of the time when the Minister of Culture Kumbaro decided to give her friends the historical building of the guard of Butrint to turn it into a cafe, it was clear that Kumbaro and her sorrollopi had no compassion or pride to preserve this inheritance.
Kumbaro's Cafe, as it is known today by the employees of Butrint, not only has the privilege of selling water and drinks at stratospheric prices, but also has the privilege of parking its car on top of the ancient ruins in the Acropolis every day.
While noble people like President Mejdani got off the car at the entrance and walked into Butrint, or heads of state and various personalities have respected the sanctity of this masterpiece of our heritage, Kumbaro and its cafe desecrate the Acropolis of Butrint every day.
