Freedom Party MP Erisa Xixho has listed the three lies that, according to her, Prime Minister Edi Rama has told since coming to power in 2013.
In a post on social networks, the deputy writes that Rama promised a budget of 5% of the PPB for education, the strengthening of professional education, harmonization with the labor market and scholarship support for all students of branches that are at risk of closure.
She says that this is the day of a government that destroys the country's assets to share the benefits with the oligarchs and its clients, because the future does not interest them.
"The prime minister's three lies:
In 2013, the Prime Minister promised a budget of 5% of GDP for education. You lied! In his third term, the budget for education is only 2.29% of GDP. Schools are closing, universities are being abandoned, because the hopeless youth of this country are emigrating en masse.
In 2016, the Prime Minister promised to strengthen vocational education and harmonize it with the labor market, claiming that there were jobs but no professionals. You lied! Vocational education was not supported by the government, which gives only 0.14% of the GDP, today the labor market suffers for professionals and the prime minister sees the only possibility obliging business by law to finance the training of professionals.
In 2023, with VKM, the prime minister signed the scholarship support for all students of branches that are at risk of closure. You lied! The minimum salary of 400,000 lek that was promised to all students of priority branches was canceled immediately after the registrations were closed. More than 1,200 students were cheated because the government stomped on the decision it took on its own.
So April 1 is the day of a prime minister who lies to the youth of his country! It is the day of a government that destroys the country's assets to share the benefits with the oligarchs and its clients, because the future does not interest them!", writes Xixho.
