The Deputy of the Democratic Party, Ervin Salianji, has apologized to the Democrats regarding January 8, 2022, where there was a clash with the supporters of Lulzim Basha and Sali Berisha.
In the show "Real Story" on ABC News, Salianji said that the armoring of the Democratic Party was a big mistake.
Among other things, Salianji added that he did not violate anyone that day, but that on the third floor, he used a stick to break the windows, due to the presence of tear gas.
"For all citizens and democrats, from the main protagonists, but also me as a deputy, a big apology must be asked, it was not possible to find a solution, beyond the elements of physical force and things that embarrass a politician, I believe that it is the day to apologize. I thought then and said that the headquarters of the Democratic Party did not need any armor. There was to be no show of force, no element of blindness was to be imposed. I saw it on January 8. It was a big mistake made at the time, it created an even bigger rift and division. The event of January 8, comes after the impotence of the former chairman of the Democratic Party at that time, after a decision that was supported, he was isolated for almost months, and did not fight a real battle with facts and a fair argument for the decision he had made.
