Will Salijanj's move bring change? Analyst: Berisha declared him an enemy,

Analyst Arben Meçe says that the movement recently launched within the Democratic Party by Ervin Salianji cannot bring change.

According to Meça, the owner of the DP is Sali Berisha and any attempt to take over the leadership of the party has little chance of being realized.

He added that Berisha declared Salianji an enemy, as he is worried that he will take over his party.

" The owner of the DP is Sali Berisha. Taking over the DP as Salianji claims is not possible. The positive thing is that another voice is being heard in the DP that is putting the dot on the i for the problem that the DP has. No one says that the problem is others besides Berisha, then it is not a movement. If they come out and produce a commission to reform the DP and it is accepted by Berisha, that is fine, but this will not happen because Berisha declared him an enemy because he is worried that he will take over the party. This movement is a product of the first division in the DP. Within the DP, the democrats are understanding that the problem to take power is Sali Berisha ," he said.

While he focused on the new law on the financing of political parties, which provides for penalties for parties that hide their income, he said that the law exists but is not implemented. According to him, there are parties in Albania that are financed by Russian sources.

" The law is there but it is not implemented. Party financing should not be a matter of law. We have a problem that our parties are being financed from Russian sources ," he said.

Meanwhile, former head of the CEC Kristaq Kume spoke to Report TV about the reaction of the American Embassy in Tirana on the indictment of Belinda Balluku, who has also been suspended from duty by decision of the GJKKO.

Kume said that the reaction is a clear message not to interfere in the affairs of justice.

" For me, this statement by the US should be listened to carefully. The US says let the institutions do their job without interfering ," he said on the 'Studio Live' show.
