The European Union has given an ultimatum to the government to take appropriate measures regarding the scandal with the theft of IPARD funds.
The EU ambassador, Luigi Soreca, spoke today on this issue, saying that OLAF has informed the government about all the violations and the EU asks the government to take measures on this scandal within the year. In short, the EU demands that the government deepen its investigations and bring to justice those who have robbed millions.
Soreca also requested that this issue be taken seriously, as European taxpayers' money has been wasted.
