Enkelejd Alibeaj has reacted to the meeting with the representative of the OSCE, related to the electoral reform. Both Gjiknuri and Gjiknuri met today with Clarisse Pasztory, who asked to advance electoral reforms.
Alibeaj in a reaction states that in the capacity of the co-chairman of the Special Commission for Electoral Reform, he expressed his consideration for the permanent support of the OSCE Presence in Albania on the Electoral Reform process. According to him, this reform is a priority of the DP.
" Also, I assured them that for the Democratic Party of Albania, the Electoral Reform is the main priority, which must be comprehensive and transparent for Albanians, in order to guarantee the Albanian citizens a free and fair electoral process, through the lists of open, a national electoral area, voting for Albanian citizens in the diaspora and electronic voting and counting process.
I also thanked Mrs. "Pasztory for the consistency in the ongoing support of the OSCE Presence in Albania on the Electoral Reform and for the recent provision of technical assistance to the Special Electoral Reform Commission ," he writes.
