Lulzim Basha's statement that internationals have intervened to bring back the bipartisan Electoral Reform Commission was a fraud, according to deputy Ervin Salianji.
Invited to "Top Talk", Salianji said that the only intervention in Basha is from Prime Minister Edi Rama's people. By influencing Basha, according to Salianji, the Electoral Reform Commission has turned into a commission "with Rama's partisans".
" I have a regret for the situation where Basha has degraded himself. Then the ease with which he deceives the public. Since yesterday we realized that this was a big bluff. We have been saying for a long time that there is a collaboration with Rama and Basha. Yesterday he confirmed it himself, but said there was interference from the Americans. In fact, it is evident that there is an intervention from Rama's people.
There is a commission set up for two years in the parliament, it has two co-chairmen. And therefore there is a conflict here, that Rama will also impose the leader who belongs to the opposition. There is a bipartisan commission, he turned it into a commission with his own partisans ," he said.
Basha's statement also prompted the reaction of internationals, including the American and British embassies as well as the EU delegation in Tirana. With these reactions, the myth of international support for Basha was also destroyed, said Salianji in "Top Talk".
" Basha has not come to the parliament for a year. The day he came, he deceived and forced three embassies to react. He did not say why this parliament, according to him, is not functioning. If there was a concern for the public interest and mainly the democratic voters, undoubtedly the servant of Berisha once, is serving Rama today. It follows entirely personal interests ", he said.
The Democrat insists that it is already clear that Basha is on the side of the majority. " Clearly, now it is in the majority. It benefits indirect things, one of them is the electoral reform commission. I am convinced that even the deputies of that group are not ready to vote to install Rama in power even more ", he added.
