The Secretary for Immigration Affairs at Reestablishment, Indrit Hoxha, said that the attack on Sali Berisha came for two reasons, the taking of the DP parliamentary group and the vote of confidence in the December 2 Assembly.
When asked about Argita Malltez, Hoxha said that he does not know if she has ambitions to be in charge of Re-establishment, but her entry into politics would be delayed.
" The blow to Berisha in my judgment came as a result of two political acts in the last two months. The first was the taking over of the DP parliamentary group with 44 MPs. And the second, was the Assembly of December 2 where Berisha was voted in. According to the PD statute, after the local elections, the mayor who loses the elections is voted in and after the general elections, the mayor who loses leaves and does not have the right to run for re-election. When we did it in the Assembly on December 11, we described it as the Basha article that only he does not run away every time he loses. And as a result of these two political acts, I think that Rama with his faction within the new justice, gave this political blow to Berisha. Tomorrow we have a meeting of the leadership of the DP where we will take some decisions that will be related to the future of the opposition and the DP. As for Ms. Malltezi, who discussed in the DP Assembly, in my opinion, Malltezi is late in politics and the right has a tradition of political heritage. There is nothing wrong and we should not have a political attack because she is Sali Berisha's daughter. I don't know the ambitions that Mrs. Malltezi may have to be the leader of the Democratic Party, but I think that Mrs. Malltezi's appearance for public opinion is overdue ," said Hoxha.
He warned that the opposition MPs will continue their civil disobedience in the streets.
" The first DP just voted for its president. It does not mean why SPAK has requested a measure, Berisha to run away as the chairman of the DP. The leader of the opposition has been hit here and undoubtedly everything will receive the deserved response. The progress of civil disobedience in the country will be discussed. What the deputies have started in the parliament will be implemented in the squares as well ", added Hoxha in "ABC News".
