Democrat Ervin Salianji was welcomed with cheers and support at his meeting in Korça.
Thanking the citizens for this support, Salianji said that hope for the DP and the opposition is full.
He began his speech optimistically, stating that 'neither snow nor rain can stop this volcano'.
"Good evening, Korça of my heart, the city of democrats, and thank you for this extraordinary reception, which warms the soul of every democrat in Albania and shows that the democrats are on their feet. Hope for the DP and the opposition on this cold January night is full. We decided to start this first meeting from 2026 from the city of Korça, with good omens and change, and apparently Korça is showing itself," said Salianji, among other things, in his speech.
He said that he had received numerous messages of support or advice, but added that he would not stop his mission and path towards the goal of making the DP victorious and reforming it.
"I have received thousands of messages of encouragement from citizens, DP leaders and various representatives. I have not had and have no plans to stop, I will continue on the path to reestablish the DP and reform it ," said Salianji.
Salianji further stated that the large participation in the hall and the support give him the spirit and energy to carry out the political rotation and bring the DP to power.
"This participation gives us more energy, more strength to move forward, it gives us inspiration to continue forward and bring what Albanians want, to bring the rotation and make the DP a winner, winner, winner," continued the former Democrat MP.
