The coming week will be a hot week for the Democratic Party. After the opposition's defeat in the May 14 elections, the structures will meet for the first time on Monday and discuss what will happen now with the party. Berisha, on the one hand, is not giving up and has made up his mind that he will stay there even if the PD goes downhill. Meanwhile, the group against him seems to take the first steps to consolidate the party.

A few days ago it was Gazment Bardhi, who called a group meeting on Monday, while on Tuesday the presidency, where 2 issues will be discussed: The political situation in the country and the process of reorganization of the PDSH.

According to the information, it is expected that there will be debates and discussions at the meeting of the group, since one of the main points that will be discussed is the possibility of holding elections for the head of the DP. The party has been without an official leader for two years and this situation has damaged it. Berisha claims to be the president, but the statute on which he was elected was overturned by the court, which makes the vote invalid. Today was MP Oriola Pampuri, who declared that DP should hold elections for the president as soon as possible.

"I support immediate elections in DP. We waited a long time, we waited two years. It was enough time to invite everyone who wanted this union," she said.

Meanwhile, it will also be discussed who should take over the leadership of the party until the elections are held. According to the Statute, the mandated president should be Jorida Tabaku. The latter has not yet given an answer whether he wants this post or not.

The opening of new elections will bring a new clash between Basha and Berisha. Basha has openly stated that he will run again in the elections and at the moment there is no obstacle for him to do so. But when it comes to Berisha, there is a resolution approved in the party's Assembly, according to which persons declared "non grata" cannot run for leadership positions. So it seems that whatever happens, Berisha is out of the PD. It remains to be seen at the beginning of next week what will be the final decisions that the deputies will take. / Pamphlet
