The Democratic Party has accused Prime Minister Rama of being responsible for the recent decision by the State Department to suspend immigration visas for Albanian citizens, among those of 75 other countries.
Democratic Party MP Klevis Balliu has commented on the US decision to suspend immigration visas for Albanians.
Invited today on the show 'Top Story', he stated that this decision undermines the government's propaganda of integration into the European Union, while also mentioning the EU's own decisions on several cases of removal of funds.
" We did not decide to maintain this position, but the US did, they had the opportunity to put us on other lists with NATO countries, but they put us on a list with countries that have nothing to do with the principles of Albanians. The government's rights were taken away, the propaganda that says we will integrate into the EU is falling. The Americans are taking away our visas, while the EU is taking away our funds."
We must understand that today the US is moving in one direction, the Albanian government continues towards Sorosist governance, to destroy democracy. What we say and think is fact, is a national betrayal, from Euro-Atlantic values to Sorosist values for theft and keeping the extreme left in power.
What can I call a person who destroys democracy? We have an extreme left in Albania. For American internal interests, it seeks to remove a state that it considers structures that violate their economic and national structures. 13 years ago we were at the table discussing the abolition of visas, to go there without visas at all, now we are discussing not having visas at all. Today we are at the points where we meet with Uzbekistan" , said Klevis Balliu.
