Former DP MP Ervin Salianji has spoken about the meetings with the Democrats, a tour he initiated several months ago, describing them as an expression of the grassroots' will to revitalize and revive the DP.
Salianji said that the DP leadership has abandoned the Democrats for 8 months, while every week they tell them that we have overthrown Edi Rama, while he is in government.
" People are showing that they are filling the halls to capacity. These are people who, disappointed by the abandonment and negligence of the DP leadership, which has not been theirs for 8 months since the election date, are organizing to keep the DP alive."
"The Democrats are there, they are not afraid, they want encouragement and trust, and they are ready to confront the government. If the DP leadership says every week that we have overthrown Edi Rama, while he is in government, then we have nothing on the line ," he said when invited to the show "This Week".
