The DP membership has been called today to a referendum to reconfirm Sali Berisha as the leader of the Democratic Party. But this is not the only electoral process in the DP, where Berisha, without any rival, formally expects the membership to entrust him with the leadership of the party for another 4 years.
And while Berisha did not allow any of the candidates to enter the race for the leadership of the DP, in a party branch, like the one in Kavaja, elections will be held with at least two names on the ballot.
Arta Arkaxhiu and Rudin Hylviu are competing for the leadership of the Kavaja branch, while DP members in this city will also vote for the referendum on Berisha's confirmation.
The elections for the Kavaja branch will be held at the "Aleksandër Moisiu" cinema, while the process began at 08:00 and ends at 18:00.
