Sali Berisha, chairman of the Democratic Party, was present at the promotion of the book 'Luleborë' by Andi Mustafaj, who played an essential role during the 2025 campaign by being its spokesperson.
Berisha considered Mustafaj's book as a political manifesto, and did not hesitate to declare that he would transform the Democratic Party according to the ideas given in the book. In fact, Berisha did not have to wait for the book, since Andi Mustafaj was part of the DP, throughout 2025, and could use his ideas to transform or modernize the party.
However, today Berisha invited democrats to read the book, especially those who have decided to stay and fight.
" If we do not fight against it from morning to night, we remain hopeless. But we must be aware that fighting against it is a duty, an imperative of our activity."
The manifesto, as I rightly call it, presents in a way that I would say is surprising, surprising for the better, our organizational problems.
I will tell you one thing here, that these days I have read a detailed, long report by the American Republican Institute on the Democratic Party.
They have come, they have done an extremely valuable study. A great support for us. For every democrat. How we should organize, how we should function, how we should digitize, how we should convey the message and function.
Andi Mustafa dedicates a chapter to it, with absolutely all the principles of this study, and he hasn't read it! Not that the book came out long before the study was done. But here, he has written that chapter precisely out of great intellectual and democratic commitment to how this party should be transformed.
What are our undeniable potentials? That's why I say, every democrat, and every opposition member should read this book.
"For those who have decided to stay and fight ," Berisha said.
