Former MP Rudina Hajdari has commented on the DP's defeat in the elections. Azem Hajdari's daughter stated that Sali Berisha "should have ended his political career."
" I think that Sali Berisha should have ended his political career, after he returned dignity to the party with the seal. At the last Council meeting where I was present, I said that the DP needs a strong team, a great contrast between the SP and the DP, which brought a new political elite ," Hajdari said on A2CNN.
According to her, if the DP fails to reflect to understand the fault, to change the course of the party, then the DP will only see a contraction in the support it has.
" Mr. Berisha's claims about the elections are to some extent correct, but it is very important who says them. I think that at a minimum, the chairman of the DP should be held responsible. I know that the mistake can be found outside the DP, but I think that the party is aware of the problems and we should not repeat the same tape: to find an alibi and to point the finger at someone else ", added Rudina Hajdari
