The American Secretary of State, Antony Blinken, has started his official meetings in Albania initially from the US Embassy in Tirana.
Blinken's armored convoy arrived around 1:35 PM at the US Embassy.
According to the agenda, Blinken will have a meeting with the embassy employees to express appreciation for the work done in strengthening the relations between the two countries.
Also, it is expected that Secretary Blinken will hold a meeting with the heads of justice institutions in the country.
The agenda includes a meeting with President Bajram Begaj and then a stop at the Tirana pyramid, where he will meet about 100 young people who have had the opportunity to experience the American experience through studies or exchange programs.
Around 16:00, the meeting with Prime Minister Edi Rama is expected to start, and then a joint conference for their media at the premises of the prime minister.
