Former Interior Minister Dritan Demiraj has stated that Ahmed Vahidi is the mastermind behind Iran's war and organization in the conflict against the US.
Demiraj pointed out the formidable economic potential that the Revolutionary Guard possesses as a structure in Iran.
Demiraj also added that from a military point of view, the Revolutionary Guard does not ask about other institutions such as Parliament or the President.
"Unfortunately, Iran has now become much more emboldened. Today, Iran is led by the Revolutionary Guard. Ahmed Vahidi is the main man, the commander of the Guard. There is no centralized one, one person who leads the entire political and military system. The taking over of Iran by hard-line representatives has emboldened them, as they are preventing the passage and control of the American fleet.
"It is known that he is Ahmed Vahidi. He is one of the people, one of the oldest, who has held very high positions and is one of the people who runs a frightening amount of the Iranian economy. The Revolutionary Guard has an industrial complex, oil, gas, hundreds of millions of dollars, to continue their activity, financially. While on the military side, they do not ask anyone, neither the President, nor the Speaker of Parliament, nor the Foreign Minister," former Minister Demiraj said on A2CNN.
