Grida Duma has commented on the recent developments and debates within the Socialist Party. Speaking about the tensions and critical attitudes that have emerged within the socialist camp, including the statements made by Elisa Spiropali and Erion Braçe, Duma focused particularly on the criticisms of the former Minister of State.
According to her, Spiropali's positions are more related to an internal political narrative than to real ideological concerns within the Socialist Party, placing emphasis on the way public and internal debates are articulated.
"Nothing is happening in the SP, except what Edi Rama wants us to believe is happening. There are no events in the SP, because every event begins and ends with the power you have in your hands. Those who produce events are those who have a large administration built by themselves. This is not the Spiropali case. The Spiropali case is disconnected from the group, it is disconnected from the means of power. Elisa Spiropali is par excellence, to pretend that there are major ideological concerns within the SP", says Duma on the show "Breaking".
According to her: "Within the SP there are concerns of intrigue. There are groups empowered by 13 years of power. Both outside and inside the SP, they are always careful about one thing, to say that Edi Rama is not to blame. If we were talking about the dissatisfaction of other individuals who have had power or who have power in the SP, we would be talking about other situations."
"Here we have it clear that we are dealing with a theater, which is serving the Albanians as an omnipotent one. These conflicts have puppets and they present them to the people here as if the winds are changing, but nothing changes. No one is controlling or threatening Edi Rama from within. My concern for Albania and for the imbalances in the SP are greater than in the DP ," Duma added.
Asked about the theses raised by MP Braçe, Duma has another point of view.
"Brace has built his profile, it is his political ability. Brace knows very well who the red line is. Rama allows Brace to exist and he has an alibi for saying: 'Do you want to say things? Here I have Brace'. The power that the SP has with Rama is a power that would require control both from within and without", says Grida Duma.
