The Socialist Party has submitted to the Ethics Secretariat requests for disciplinary measures against opposition MPs following incidents recorded in the last parliamentary session.
According to the request, Flamur Noka is proposed to be suspended from the Assembly for 60 days. While Elda Hoti and Albana Vokshi are being suspended for 30 days each.
The clashes began during the plenary session, when a minute of silence was requested in memory of the events of April 2, 1991 in Shkodra. The Democratic Party deputies opposed this action and considered it provocative.
The situation escalated even during the adjournment of the session. Flamur Noka addressed Taulant Balla in threatening tones, using offensive expressions.
Another incident involved MP Elda Hoti, who took the microphone card from Bora Muzhaqi. At this point, Taulant Balla intervened and debated with her about the action.
There were also tensions between Albana Vokshi and Bora Muzhaqi, adding to the climate of conflict in the Assembly hall.
The Ethics Secretariat is expected to review the requests and decide on disciplinary measures.
