In the 'Sy m'sy' column, which he returned to on Monday morning, commenting on the action to liberate public spaces from those he described as occupiers, Prime Minister Edi Rama also commented on the resignations in the country's municipalities, which he ultimately demanded.
Rama described them as a necessity to revitalize local administration and improve services to citizens.
He continued by saying that a process has already been opened for the inclusion of young people who want to run for leadership positions in the municipality, seeing this as a step to bring new energy and professionalism to the local administration.
"The resignations of the directors are a necessity to give the municipality an impulse and shake up the stale mechanisms and address the problems that are not related to the budget but to commitment, Vlora is a concrete example. A process has been opened to invite young people to run to be the new leaders of the Municipality of Vlora", said Rama.
