Edi Rama arrives in Kosovo, welcomed by Vjosa Osmani

Edi Rama and Vjosa Osmani

The Prime Minister of Albania, Edi Rama, has arrived in Pristina.

He was received at the Presidency by the President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani.

Rama is also expected to meet with his counterpart Albin Kurti today, where at 3:00 PM he will be welcomed with an official ceremony at the Kosovo government building. 

During his stay in Kosovo, Rama will hold an open lecture with young people from the "Hasan Prishtina" University and students from the "Sami Frashëri" high school.

Edi Rama's visit to Pristina comes a day before Kosovo's Independence Day, which marks the 18th anniversary of independence tomorrow.
