"The deformed economy is impoverishing Albanians", Tabaku: The

Democratic Party MP Jorida Tabaku has reacted to the increase in prices in the country. She emphasizes that the consequences of this phenomenon are a deformed economic model and wrong fiscal policy.

According to Tabaku, the current situation is not accidental, but a direct result of the way the economy works.

"The economy today no longer produces. It is kept afloat by public administration and construction. We practically no longer have a market economy, but a command economy ," she said on Facebook.

The MP emphasizes that the Albanian economy has turned into a "minority economy", where benefits are concentrated in a limited group, to the detriment of competition and real production.

Another element that Tabaku highlights is the weight of taxes in price increases.

"The general increase in prices reflects high taxes and a fiscal system that favors the minority at the expense of the majority," the Democrat declares.

She adds that a significant portion of the price of fuel consists of taxes, directly affecting the cost of living for citizens.

In conclusion, Tabaku argues that the current economic model is hindering development and worsening the economic situation of Albanian families.
