Former prosecutor Ervin Karanxha has stated that the selection of Klodian Braho as head of SPAK was a good choice. According to him, Klodian Braho has a good career, which is an important legal criterion. But according to him, he has carried out the duties that are his.
" To be a prosecutor in the Republic of Albania, the main criterion has previously been to have graduated from Magistrate's School. It is noted that he graduated from Magistrate's School, took a competition himself and won it, and there is a gradual rise in his career.
He finished school, graduated from college, graduated from magistracy and started working as a prosecutor in Berat. So, his career and education show a gradual rise, because we have seen people from nowhere being appointed to key positions. This is something positive , "he said.
Regarding the issues, according to him, it is true that Mr. Braho has had important issues and has enforced the law.
" He is a prosecutor who has correctly applied the law, the fact has been ascertained by the court, so when a prosecutor's cases are reviewed in court regarding sentencing measures and qualifications, this prosecutor has acted correctly. All the cases he has pursued are successful cases."
Now a competition has been held, where all SPAK prosecutors meet the criteria and have passed the filter once. It is a competition where the High Prosecutorial Council, the 11 members of the High Prosecutorial Council, taking into account everyone's presentation and CVs, have chosen one. The will to choose him has not been influenced by him being the head of SPAK. I wish him success , "the former prosecutor expressed," he said on "Euronews".
