The Chairman of the Socialist Party Parliamentary Group, Taulant Balla, has warned the opposition that the Socialist Party will pursue reforms alone if they do not join.
Today the new parliamentary session begins and the DP occupied the podium. Speaking from the seat, Balla said that there will be no waiting for them, while also touching on Trump's invitation to Rama to be on the Peace Board.
Balla described the invitation as an appreciation for Albania and for the name of Albanians in the world, while attacking the opposition's positions, which according to him, have gone from denial to an attempt to minimize the importance of the event. "At first they said there was no invitation. Then they asked to see him. Then they compared him to the president of Paraguay. But in the Western Balkans, no one else has been invited. This is not a coincidence. This is partnership," said Balla.
He stressed that Edi Rama is a "reliable partner of the US", responding to political insinuations and demands for transparency regarding the invitation. "The situation deteriorated in the camp of the cuckolds, where on the orders of the cuckolds they started appearing on TV", he added in an ironic tone.
In the second part of his speech, Balla warned the opposition to participate in the parliamentary committees on electoral and territorial reform. Otherwise, he said, the majority will change its decision and continue working without the opposition.
