"A telenovela of Justice Directed by the Director," PL leader Ilir Meta has called the GJKKO Appeals Court's decision not to change his prison sentence. In a post on his social network "Facebook," Meta accuses the justice system of keeping him in prison without evidence.
Further, he adds that this entire issue of the 'CEZ-DIA' affair is a fabrication by the trio, Rama-McGonigal-Dumani, who, according to him, opened an investigation to blackmail him.
"They have neither had any evidence, nor have they found any evidence, nor do they have a chance to invent any evidence, despite the ugly provocations here at the 313th. No matter how much they drag out the investigations, no matter how much they hide evidence that refutes all their deceptions, the confrontation is inevitable and we can't wait for the trial to begin, so that all of Albania and the world can know who are those who know the English of Charles McGonigail, who, together with Edi Rama and Altin Dumani, registered the CEZ-DIA case in December 2019 to blackmail and investigate me as President of the Republic, (a case tried in Albania and in the Vienna Arbitration), at the height of the conflict for the Constitutional Court," Meta writes.
Speaking regarding the argument that he should remain in prison as he risks destroying evidence and threatening witnesses, Meta states that he is not doing this, but that SPAK and the government have already done so by recruiting and blackmailing witnesses for his case.
" I am not the one who is jeopardizing the evidence, but it is those who have hidden the evidence. It is not me who is intimidating witnesses, but it is those who have intimidated and recruited witnesses, and who have converted them into SP supporters through blackmail. This is a confrontation that we will win on behalf of all Albanians who are paying very dearly for justice today, which has nothing to do with the rule of law or the European Convention on Human Rights ," Meta adds.

No disappointment from the telenovela "Justice Directed". Thanks to the indomitable lawyer, Mr. Kujtim Cakrani, who has spent two hours of his life for those who have neither ears to listen nor the integrity to show respect for the Constitution, the European Convention on Human Rights, and the law.
But the lawyer has the principle that even walls can hear, so I thank him once again for the wasted breath, which was nevertheless recorded due to the exhaustion of all internal procedures, of a judicial system that is under permanent surveillance by SPAK, which literally receives orders and accusations from the tribune of the SP Assembly.
