"SPAK's attacks have damaged us", Majko on the May 11 elections:

Socialist Party MP Pandeli Majko says that the Socialist Party has chosen to play on the offensive for the May 11 parliamentary elections.

Invited to the "Real Story" show on ABC News, Majko stated that the SP needs to recover quickly for the elections, as there have been attacks from SPAK that have damaged it.

"We have decided to play on the offensive. The concept that the Socialist Party brought to each district by former district leaders was correct. It was very correct. You cannot go as a political leader, present your colleagues and be a competitor yourself. The district leaders would then take care to have weak figures in the competition. Politics also has these. We must recover a line from the justice system. The ease is easier to answer why I am here. We have had blows.

"When a politician is hit by the justice system, it is also a blow to the political party. We should have done and are doing an aggressive campaign. The opposition did not manage to benefit from this, if for a moment we think of the opposition's victory, consider SPAK abolished. This is a political decision ," he stressed.

Majko further said that May 11 is a crossroads that they have not taken lightly. According to the socialist, they do not underestimate the DP and the opposition and that these 40 days will be a real battle. Majko further said that he does not rule out the possibility of the DP's victory.

" I do not underestimate the DP and the opposition, I think that 40 days will be a real battle for us. I do not rule out the victory of the DP. If you are going to lose a few more votes, act as if you have the victory in your pocket. We are in a much better situation from the point of view of the movements with our opponents. The opposition has entered three positions, there is no division left or right but they will be divided for or against the SP.

This makes the battle delicate. There will be no votes not only for Berisha but also for the new movements. If we do not do what is necessary, voters who do not know what they want will be sucked in. It is a crossroads and if it is not understood as a crossroads, it may lead to us not getting 70 mandates. The experimentation of the gray could lead to this limit, which is why I consider it a crossroads and that we have not taken it lightly , "he said.
