Himarjot elects the new mayor, CEC publishes the preliminary results: What is the participation so far in the voting!

Until 9:00 in Himare, 6.39% or 1,145 of the 17,926 voters on the VC list reported to elect the mayor voted.

Himarjots elect the new mayor today. Voting started at 07:00, where the first citizens went to 36 voting centers.

The Central Election Commission has published the preliminary results until 09:00.

According to the CEC, until now the participation has been 1145 voters out of 23074 voters in total, i.e. 6.39%.

In the race are Vangjel Tavo of the Socialist Party and Petro Gjikuria, the candidate of the opposition. Both candidates are expected to vote at 10am. Meanwhile, it was reported in the CEC that the voting in two VCs in Kuç started with an hour delay.
