
Chief Commissioner Ilirjan Celibashi, through a reaction to X, says that the voting process is proceeding normally and without problems in Himare.
Until 8:00 a.m. in Himare, 2.71% or 563 of the 20,786 voters on the VC list reported to elect the mayor voted.

All voting centers in Himar Municipality have been opened according to the procedures defined by the Electoral Code. Voters are being identified through the electronic identification device (EID) and no problems have been reported.
The voting process is proceeding normally and without problems. All 36 voting centers will be open until 19:00, so that the citizens of Himara can exercise their right to vote" , writes Celibashi.
In the race are Vangjel Tavo Palase of the Socialist Party and Petro Gjikuria of the opposition. Both candidates are expected to vote at 10am. Meanwhile, it was reported in the CEC that the voting in two VCs in Kuç started with an hour delay.
It has been reported that in some VC there have been debates between commissioners whether or not voters with registered ID cards will be allowed to vote.
According to the secretary of KZAZ 88 in Himare, so far there are 70 voters who have not been able to vote because of expired ID cards. The commissioners have received instructions not to allow those with expired ID cards to vote, meanwhile in Himarë Village voting continues suspended due to this problem until a response from the CEC.
