Prime Minister Edi Rama has not hesitated to criticize the parliamentary opposition, but also to express that he was surprised by its stance, to unite votes with the majority, regarding the approval in the Assembly of the resolution for Albania's integration into the European Union.
In the "Flasim" podcast, the Prime Minister said that the opposition, with its latest stance in Parliament, joined the majority, even though this was the first time, according to him, that the opposition led by Sali Berisha voted the same as the socialist MPs regarding EU integration.
But even for this opposition stance, Edi Rama has an answer, and according to him, it has to do with the fact that the Democratic Party has finally understood that the country's membership process in the European Union cannot be stopped.
Despite the surprises, ironies and stings, Rama has made an appeal that on integration issues, Albanian politics must have a unified stance and support the process.
In his comment, Rama said that by voting in favor of the resolution, the opposition indirectly admitted that there is no blockage in the negotiations with the EU. The Prime Minister also warned that Albania will soon receive new good news regarding the country's European integration process.
" The last note is about something welcome in the Albanian Parliament, where surprisingly, but I repeat positively, the opposition forces of the Albanian Parliament joined the ruling majority for a resolution related to membership in the European Union.
I am really glad that something like this happened. It would be good if it happened constantly when we talk about membership in the European Union, but even just once, after all, is a time with its own value and I am also glad that, as far as I understand, they have understood that the process is unstoppable, that the much-discussed blockage does not exist, that soon the new and good news will come, like all the news about the opening of chapters, of overcoming the next phase of the process and the way will also be opened for the beginning of the closing of the negotiation chapters.
"So the union, however sudden and however hasty, in the "boat of European Albania", where we have been there for a long time and where they always have a place there, is completely welcome ," Rama said.
Three days ago, the Albanian Parliament approved with 114 votes in favor and 1 abstention the resolution on Integration into the European Union.
The document qualifies European integration as a national strategic objective and envisages strengthening the role of the Assembly in monitoring negotiations, overseeing reforms, and controlling the executive.
In the resolution, the Albanian Parliament reiterates that progress in the accession process must be measured on the basis of merit, democratic standards and verifiable achievements, in order for Albania to move with sustainable steps towards full membership in the European Union.
Another point is to strengthen parliamentary control over the executive branch, to intensify the pace of electoral reform in full implementation of the recommendations of the OSCE/ODIHR and the Venice Commission, to guarantee free and fair elections.
The majority also commits to ensuring the conditions for the full participation of the opposition in parliamentary activity, to respecting its demands in accordance with democratic standards, the Constitution and the Rules of Procedure of the Assembly. Edhe sondazhi tregoi se 68 % e njerzve besojne se as Rama dhe as Berisha nuk jane te interesuar seriozisht per integrimin. Keshtu si jane, e ndjejne veten te lire per te vjedhur, si ai qeni agresiv i pa lidhur me zinxhir.

Ligjet po shkelen masivisht me shqiptaret dhe ndaj shqiptareve ,,,, Prandaj njerzit te qendrojne ketu, te kthehen edhe ata qe kane ikur, te marrin situaten ne dore, pronat e grabitura dhe gjithcka te tyre, ne menyre qe ne Shqiperi te vendoset ligji dhe demokracia e jo hajdutokracia ekstreme!!!!!!
