Former President Bamir Topi, while recalling the past political period, mentioned some of the most well-known political figures in our country who have created other parties after leaving the largest parties.
Blushi mentioned names like Ben Blushi and Astrit Patozi, who, according to him, have become victims of a corrupt system that has destroyed individuals and parties that have attempted to change.
Topi said that these politicians, who had the potential to become strong leaders, were ruined and removed from the political scene due to the 'criminalization of the system and politics.' He emphasizes that this situation is a reflection of what has happened with the Democratic Party and the current prime minister.
"Why was Mr. Blushi so little? One of the most capable politicians in Parliament, an intellectual, a citizen, a public voice, he created the party and left. Why? Because they stole it, they ruined it like they ruined us," said Topi, emphasizing that this is a recurring situation for those who have attempted to change the system.
"This way, it is no longer a matter of political parties or individuals, but rather a matter of the system. A system has been built here that Albania, in any circumstances, remains bipolar, with the ruling party and the opposition party remaining the Democratic Party."
Going back to the past, I will mention a few names. Taking into consideration my participation in politics after the Presidency, where with me were a group of honorable people, participants in politics, known in the public, what happened happened.

Because they stole him, they destroyed him like they destroyed us. Was Mr. Patozi so little? A journalist, a politician, he created his own party and he left too. What do I see here? I see individuals who have created several political parties. They have had media access throughout this period and if you look at it, the space is narrowing and those who destroyed the system, the current prime minister and the leader of the DP, are coming to the fore again," Bamir Topi said for "News 24".
