Spahiu's irony: The DP will enter the Parliament and its MPs will receive a

The parliamentary session of the Assembly elected on May 11 begins its work in September, but the opposition, in addition to being in crisis, has also displayed a pronounced political bipolarity in its discourse and plans for what it will do with the mandates.

Lawyer Kreshnik Spahiu, while analyzing for Report TV the behavior of the DP in the last three months and the expectations from it for the Assembly and the autumn season, ironically said that the Democratic MPs, led by Berisha, will accept to enter the Parliament and receive the 3300 euro salary from Edi Rama. Regarding the political behavior of the DP and the 'debt' of the MPs to the SMI to form a parliamentary group, he underlined:

"The first is not legal, the second is not moral, and the third is not logical. The fourth is antagonistic to the current discourse of the DP. On the one hand, it says we do not recognize the elections, on the other hand, it creates parliamentary groups to get money. On the one hand, it says we will hold popular protests in the streets outside Parliament, on the other hand, it lends MPs to other parties. One parliamentary group receives 100 thousand euros more, 6 groups receive 600 thousand euros, including all structures," he said.

And the opposition's parodic positions culminate in claims of electoral farce, to the failure to hold any street protests for the three months of summer, an antagonism that is now accompanied by declarations of mass protests in the fall, but also by entering Parliament to receive their salaries.

"There has been no protest for three months since the elections, even though it is an electoral farce. I have a question? Will these MPs go to Parliament to receive the 3.3 million euro salary that Edi Rama's government has set for them?! These MPs want the Democrats to take to the streets, protest at Berisha's house and not lose their salary. Their morality must be separated from these interests and fill the squares. Two things are certain in life, death and the jackets that the DP MPs have been hanging on the DP for 35 years. Pëllumb Pilinci has been more active than the DP," Spahiu ironically said.

And to put a 'cap' on it, he argued that in all likelihood, the DP's autumn protests would be postponed until the New Year, then for Eid, and then there would be repeated calls for a technical government or early elections.

"If we continue with these DP causes, we will go from autumn protests to Christmas, to Eid and never again, where we will hear claims of a technical government or early elections, so it will be a farce," the lawyer concluded his analysis of the political situation the opposition is going through in Albania.
